Saamaya SOFTPOS, a fintech company based in Douala, Cameroon, operates the Saamaya SOFTPOS platform to assist merchants and businesses in the CEMAC zone with inventory and value chain management. This Privacy Policy governs your use of our websites (www.saamayainventory.com or www.inventory.saamayafinance.com) and is an agreement between Saamaya Finance SARL ("us," "we," or "our") and you, the user ("you" or "your").

By registering as a member or using our websites, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and consent to our privacy practices as described, including our use and disclosure of personally identifiable information for the purposes outlined below.

We do not offer services aimed at children. If we receive personally identifiable information from a person we know to be under 18, we take steps to remove such information from our databases. When necessary to fulfill contractual obligations, we make reasonable efforts to anonymize and depersonalize data from individuals under 18.

Personally Identifiable Information: We collect this during the registration process or when you request services, support, or information. Non-registered visitors may also provide their name and email address when requesting information about our sites or services.

We do not store or process users’ credit card information; we use an external payment processing system (credit/debit cards and ACH) or our parent company, Saamaya Finance SARL, for subscription and point-of-sale services. We may disclose information if required by law, to comply with legal processes, protect our rights or property, enforce agreements, or meet national security or law enforcement requirements. In the event of a business transition (e.g., merger, acquisition, or asset sale), your personally identifiable information may be transferred as part of the assets.

However, no internet or electronic storage method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We provide online tools for clients to manage their businesses, including access for their own clients. We process data submitted by our clients or their clients, which may include information about clients, prospects, point-of-sale services, inventory management, and merchandise orders. We access this data to provide services, address technical issues, follow client instructions, or meet contractual requirements.

11. Third-Party Websites and Advertisers

Our websites may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. We may use third-party advertisers or networks to serve ads, which may collect information about your visits, ad interactions, or product access. We do not endorse these third parties or their products, and you should review their terms and privacy policies.

12. CEMAC and Cameroonian Residents – Your Privacy Rights

Under applicable CEMAC data protection laws, residents may request information about whether their personal data has been disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information for such purposes unless you explicitly consent, typically by agreeing to receive third-party communications.
